3 Days of Design

In June, WOHNFEE visited THE Scandinavian design event of the summer in Copenhagen. Here are our highlights:

3 Days of Design

In front of the gates of the Odd Fellows' Palace, the Finnish brands SECTO Design, Woodnotes and NIKARI presented their new products.

SECTO DESIGN presented the Kumulo pendant lamp for the first time. The designer Seppo Koho was inspired to create it on a trip to Lapland - by summery cumulus clouds and snow-covered trees. Striking and yet light and airy. "Kumulo offers a warm, soft light that reflects the colour tones of the birch wood. Like all Secto Design pendant lamps, Kumulo can be used individually or combined with several pieces to create fascinating installations in private and public interiors. Sustainability is a central value for Secto Design; handcrafted and made from PEFC-certified local birch, these originals last for generations.

The elegant wooden furniture by NIKARI impresses with its simple product design and perfect workmanship. From the FRAME series, the new FRAME LOW coffee table - clear and minimalist - was presented. Also new is the Archetyp Lounge Chair by Jasper Morrison in a special leather version - seen in the picture with a beautiful rug by WOODNOTES. For these Finnish rugs made of paper yarn, WILLOW BROWN was the focus next to the summer colour GRASS GREEN as "Colour of the Year 2024". These rugs adapt to a wide variety of environments and ground the room and thus also its inhabitants.
